Jimmy Faulkner
Jimmy Faulkner serves as Vice President of People and Culture at Southeastern Integrated Care (SEIC), where he provides organization wide leadership focused on developing people, strengthening leaders, and building a workplace culture where employees are equipped and empowered to succeed. His work brings together organizational development, leadership development, employee engagement, workforce strategy, training, and culture to support SEIC’s mission and continued growth.
With nearly three decades of experience in mental health, substance use, and human services, Jimmy has built his career around a passion for helping people recognize their potential, develop their abilities, and achieve meaningful goals.

His professional journey began after earning a degree in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University and serving as a counselor with the North Carolina Division of Youth Services. His experience providing training in suicide awareness and prevention, documentation, and crisis management led him to become a certified North Carolina criminal justice instructor.
After transitioning into North Carolina’s community mental health and substance use system, Jimmy returned to East Carolina University and earned a degree in Social Work. His career has since included clinical, administrative, training, and leadership roles across outpatient treatment, community-based services, school settings, 24-hour residential programs, care management, workforce development, and organizational leadership. Prior to joining SEIC, he served as Director of Learning and Organizational Development for Easterseals PORT Health, supporting employees and programs across North Carolina and Virginia.
Jimmy’s relationship with MindSet Safety Management has grown from instructor to instructor trainer and organizational implementation leader. This experience allows him to bring a unique perspective to MindSet—connecting crisis prevention and intervention with leadership, staff development, organizational culture, and the relationships between employees and the people they serve.
Jimmy believes effective crisis prevention begins long before a crisis occurs. Strong relationships, effective communication, staff confidence, self awareness, and healthy organizational cultures all contribute to environments where people feel safer, respected, and supported. Through his work with MindSet, he encourages organizations to look beyond behavior and crisis management techniques to better understand the person, their experiences, and what may be driving the behavior they see.
For Jimmy, MindSet is more than a required training. It is an opportunity to influence how we see, understand, and respond to people during some of their most difficult moments—while preserving dignity, strengthening human connection, and creating cultures of safety and respect.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Jimmy enjoys traveling, spending time on the golf course, and following college football and basketball.
