Skillet’s Beginnings
Skillet began his therapy work at just 8 weeks old, serving in the GNETS program in Henry County. For a decade, Skillet played a pivotal role in the therapeutic team, offering support and comfort to individuals in need. He also volunteered at the F.A.I.T.H. shelter in Clayton, Georgia, providing reassurance to children and mothers escaping domestic violence situations.
In 2023, Skillet transitioned to semi-retirement but continues to visit his students monthly at South Metro GNETS in Henry and Clayton Counties. He has recently joined the Mindset team as a PEACE ambassador, representing the organization at events such as the annual Mindset Conference. Skillet accompanies his owner, Kimberly Hodges, to trainings upon request. For further details on Skillet’s impactful work and his role in co-regulation, please reach out to Kimberly Hodges directly.
