Kimberly has dedicated her entire career to supporting children and adolescents affected by trauma. Beginning as a behavior specialist and later as a classroom teacher in private residential settings, she collaborated closely with Marshall Siler, founder of Mindset. Her commitment continued for 23 years in the public school system, where she served as both a classroom teacher and behavior specialist in the GNETS (Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support) Program. Kimberly has consistently approached challenging behaviors through a trauma-informed lens, significantly impacting programming for students with emotional and behavioral disorders.
Jackie Holland is a dedicated MindSet Specialist focused on Program Development and certifying trainers in the MindSet Curriculum across the United States. Originally graduating from an International Baccalaureate school in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jackie went on to earn her Bachelor’s in Communications in London and subsequently completed her Masters Degree in Special Education. With over 15 years of experience in a Title I school district, Jackie has held various impactful roles including two-time Paraprofessional of the Year, special education teacher, award-winning special education administrator, and district behavior specialist.
Mr. Gilchrist is a dedicated and experienced educator with a diverse background in supporting children with challenging behaviors. His passion for this field developed during his tenure as a cottage counselor at Murphy-Harpst-Vashti, where he witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of dedicated support.
Originally from Puerto Rico and now based in the United States since 2010, Heysha Rodriguez brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Director of Operations at MindSet Safety Management. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology specializing in Research Methodology from the University of Alabama, Heysha’s academic journey includes extensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her research, focused on cognitive assessments for children and adolescents, under the mentorship of School Psychologists Dr. MaryAnnette Moreno and Dr. Jack Naglieri, has contributed valuable insights to educational psychology.
Dr. Matthias Wicks, Chief of Police, brings over three decades of experience in law enforcement, education, coaching, and leadership. Throughout his career, he has witnessed how even the most resilient leaders and outstanding employees can lose motivation over time. Leading teams through significant changes has underscored for him the crucial importance of understanding how systemic shifts impact both individuals and teams, as well as the end users of those systems.
Steve McMahon has dedicated his thirty-five-year career in education to transforming school and organizational cultures towards a focus on prevention. After serving in the United States Navy for four years, he transitioned to becoming a public school teacher, driven by his passion for nurturing children’s growth. His professional journey encompasses diverse roles from teaching students with disabilities to assuming positions as a program manager and district-wide behavior intervention specialist.
As the Director of Learning and Organizational Management at Easterseals/ PORT Health, Jimmy Faulkner plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s training and professional development strategy. His leadership and strategic skills are instrumental in enhancing staff capabilities and program efficacy. Jimmy also continues to provide oversight and leadership for Tailored Care Management.
